Questions people ask

Mostly the ones that arrive in our messages before someone orders. If yours isn't here, ask us — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.

Ordering

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the piece and how many figures are in it — one pet on their own is not the same job as two people and a dog. Send us your photo and we'll quote you before any work starts.

Do I have to pay before I see anything?

No. We sculpt the 3D model first and show it to you. You only pay once you've seen it and you're happy with it.

How do I place an order?

Message us on Instagram with your photo. That's the whole process — there's no cart and no form to fill in, because most orders need a short conversation about the photo anyway.

The photo

What kind of photo do you need?

One that shows the pose you want and enough of your pet to paint accurately. A phone photo is fine. There's more detail on how it works, including what to send if you're not sure.

My photo is old and a bit blurry. Is that a problem?

Usually not. We can work from imperfect photos, and it helps if you can send a couple of others of your pet from different angles — they don't need to include you. If a photo genuinely won't work, we'll tell you before you pay anything.

My pet has passed away. Can you still make one?

Yes. A lot of what we make is for exactly this reason, and an old photo is usually all we need. If it's easier to send the photo and say little else, that's completely fine.

Can you include more than one pet, or more than one person?

Often yes — it depends on the pose and how they're arranged in the photo. Send it over and we'll tell you what's workable before quoting.

What happens to my photo?

We use it to make your piece. We won't post your photo or the finished piece anywhere without asking you first.

The piece itself

What is it made of?

It's 3D printed, then finished entirely by hand — the print comes out in a single colour, so every bit of fur, fabric and detail you see is painted. The finished figure is mounted on a wooden base.

How big is it?

It varies with the pose and the number of figures. Tell us where you're planning to keep it — a desk, a shelf, a bedside table — and we'll suggest a size that suits.

Will it look exactly like my photo?

It's made by hand, so it's an interpretation rather than a copy — but likeness is the whole point, and it's why you see and approve the sculpt before anything is printed. If the likeness isn't there yet, say so at that stage and we'll change it.

How should I look after it?

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat, and dust it with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth — a cloth can catch on fine painted detail. It's a decorative piece, not a toy.

Delivery

How long does it take?

Around ten days as a general guide, counted from the point where you've approved the sculpt. The earlier stage depends partly on how quickly we hear back from you.

Where do you deliver?

Across India. If you're outside India, message us before ordering and we'll tell you whether we can get it to you.

What if it arrives damaged?

We'll remake it, free. Message us as soon as it arrives with photos of both the packaging and the piece. The packaging photos matter — they tell us whether it happened in transit, which affects how we pack the next one, not whether we honour this.
